How do I replace the battery?
When your battery runs low, you'll receive a notification on your iPhone. Simply pop open the tracker, replace the CR2032 button battery (available at any pharmacy or supermarket in SA), and you're good to go. The whole process takes under a minute.
Will this tracker work with my iPhone?
Yes! The Daily Drift Smart Tracker is fully compatible with all iPhones running iOS 14.5 or later. Simply open the Find My app, tap 'Items', and your tracker will appear automatically. No extra apps, no account creation — it just works.
Can I track my pet in real time?
Yes — attach the tracker to your pet's collar and monitor their location directly from your iPhone's Find My app. Whether your dog digs under the fence or your cat goes on an adventure, you'll know exactly where they are. Peace of mind, instantly.
What happens if the tracker goes out of range?
The Smart Tracker uses Apple's Find My network — meaning it doesn't rely on your phone's Bluetooth range alone. Any nearby Apple device (anonymously and securely) helps update your tracker's last known location. The larger the city, the more coverage you get.
Is it waterproof?
The Smart Tracker is splash and dust resistant, making it suitable for everyday use — rain, outdoor activities, and general wear. We recommend avoiding full submersion in water to maintain optimal performance.
Can someone else track me using this device?
No. Apple's Find My network is built with privacy at its core. If an unknown tracker is detected moving with you, your iPhone will alert you automatically. You are always in control of your own privacy.
